A Book Fair for Halloween
I would like to introduce Ruby Elizabeth in her own words:
Hi, I’m Ruby Elizabeth, and this book is a little piece of my life and my story. I was born extremely early and have faced challenges with my health, school, and everyday life that I never expected. There have been times when I felt different, frustrated, or like people didn’t understand what I was going through, but my faith, my family, my friends, and the people who supported me helped me keep going.
I’m a Southern Christian girl who loves her family, her friends, Haughton High School, and the little things that make life special. I wrote this book to share what I’ve learned along the way and to remind other people that their story matters too. If my story can give even one person a little hope or courage to keep moving forward, then sharing it was worth it.
Ruby has written a book “More Than My Diagnosis” and it is a moving, inspiring account of how God has helped Ruby and her family deal with her “diagnosis”. Her book is now available on all book sites.
On Saturday, October 31st, our American Christian Fiction Writers Louisiana chapter has invited Ruby to join us for our annual Wholesome Book Fair. This is our fourth year offering book by local authors. The Fair will be held at Barksdale Baptist Church on Jimmy Davis highway, address from 11 AM to 2 PM.

We invite you to wear your favorite costume based on your favorite character and come find some inspiring, wholesome books. And come meet Ruby and her parents.
See you there!
