ACFW Aspiring Writers Workshop

What is the ACFW?

Before we move on, I’d like to take just a couple of minutes to tell you who we are.
ACFW stands for American Christian Fiction Writers. We exist to support, encourage, and equip writers who want to write fiction from a Christian worldview—whether they’re just starting out or already published.

This workshop is hosted by the Louisiana Chapter, a local community of writers who meet regularly for encouragement, learning, and connection. Many of us were once sitting at home where you are today — wondering if we could really do this.

One of the biggest things we believe is that writers shouldn’t have to work alone. Writing can be hard, confusing, and sometimes discouraging, but community makes a huge difference.

We want to offer you an opportunity to meet with published Christian authors and learn more about the craft of writing. And it is FREE! Yes, FREE!

Registration begins at 8:30 AM and we encourage you to please pre-register at the link below.
The workshop lasts until 4 PM with a break for lunch where you can talk and visit with published authors! Please BRING A SACK LUNCH!
Door prizes will be given away throughout the day.
Authors will have their books available for purchase and book signing!
