Update for 2021
It has been a long, hard year. I haven’t blogged much this past year. I did manage to release two books, “The 8th Demon: A Wicked Numinosity” last May and “Our Darkness, His Light” in December.
Many of you may wonder where I’ve been. I haven’t posted much because my wife and I have been taking care of our daughter. Casey has had some tough health challenges this past year and all three of us are frankly exhausted. COVID has made things very difficult because of Casey’s susceptibility to serious disease and we have had to be especially careful. I won’t go into details about our adult daughter but we covet your prayers for her chronic illnesses.
Because of these issues, I haven’t had a chance to do much writing. I am trying my best to finish two books this year. First, a new book, “Shadow Merchant” a story about a forensic radiologist who must solve his wife’s murder when he is accused of the crime. The reason I am trying to finish this book is Dr. Jack Merchant is a minor character in the next Jonathan Steel book, “The 7th Demon: An Unholy Triad” which will feature the seventh, sixth and fifth demon who join forces to destroy Jonathan Steel.
There is an update on my first two books, “The 13th Demon” and “The 12th Demon”. Both books have now been returned to me by Charisma Media, the original publisher. I am planning on updating both books to their original length and storylines and will publish both books in a combined volume before the end of the year.
If you are in the Shreveport, Louisiana area I will be hosting my co-author, Mark Sutton at a book signing for his new book, “Demon Undertow” at the Well (coffee/book shop) at Brookwood Baptist Church on Saturday, May 15th from 5 PM to 7 PM. Since Mark has received a lung transplant, we will be enforcing pretty strict safety measures. But, I will be signing copies of “The 8th Demon” and “Our Darkness, His Light”. Also, I have about 100 copies of “The 13th Demon” from Charisma and I will be allowing anyone who wants a copy to pick up one for free. Yes, I said FREE!
Hope to see you there.
